五脚基
五脚基又称五脚起、五脚砌，在新加坡或马来西亚的闽南移民习惯称骑楼下的走廊为五脚基，“脚基”是以闽南语音直译马来语“kaki”一词。“Kaki”的本意是“脚”，这里是指英尺，是马来语对英语的「feet」一词的意译。别称为「五脚气」，系转音之误，意指店舖住宅临街骑楼下的走廊，因法规规定，廊宽都是五英尺。
