蟆口鴟屬

（學名：，）是蟆口鴟目蟆口鴟科下的一個屬。[2]本屬鳥類主要以昆蟲為食，分佈於新幾內亞及澳洲一帶。[3]

本屬為法國鳥類學家路易·皮埃爾·維埃約於1818年為其命名的茶色蟆口鴟建立，並理所當然地因單型屬成為了本屬的模式種。[1][2][4]

在演化歷史中，本屬是蟆口鴟科中分佈於華萊士線以東的一個屬，與亞洲蟆口鴟屬相對。[3]
