贝叶棕亚科
贝叶棕亚科（学名：）是棕榈科下的一个亚科。包括有乔木和灌木，单干或丛生。叶为扇形或近圆形、近心形，掌状分裂，少数种类不分裂或羽状分裂；裂片向内折叠，少数外向折叠。花两性、单性或杂性，雌雄异株；花在花序分枝节上单朵或2朵并生（合轴状分枝），花序外由苞片组成的佛焰苞所包围或部分包围，绝无3朵并生现象（即中间1朵雌花，两侧各1朵雄花）；雄蕊多枚或6枚；心皮3枚，离生或各种合生。核果含种子1～3粒。
