索引颜色

索引颜色是一种以有限的方式管理数字图像颜色的技术，以节省电脑内存和文档存储，同时加速显示刷新和文档传输。它是矢量量化压缩的一种形式。

第一个支持调色板颜色的设备是随机访问帧缓冲器，由Kajiya，Sutherland和Cheadle于1975年发表。[1][2]
