竹鼠属（学名：）是哺乳纲啮齿目鼹形鼠科中的一属，而与竹鼠属（大竹鼠）同科的动物尚有东非鼹鼠属（大东非鼹鼠）、小竹鼠属（小竹鼠）等之数种哺乳动物[1]。
