禾雀属（学名：），是雀形目梅花雀科的一个属。[2]

分类学

本属由德国鸟类学家路德维希·赖兴巴赫于1850年所创建。[3]其模式种为禾雀，因当时赖兴巴赫仅用以分类该物种。[1]属名来自英国自然学家乔治·爱德华兹于1743年赋予禾雀的名称「Padda」，该词来自马来语，意思是「米」。[4][5]

生物分类学上，该属曾一度被认为是文鸟属的异名，并在2020年后根据亲缘研究将该两个物种自该属分出。[2][6]而该属与属形成姊妹群的关系。[6]该属的两种鸟类有时被认为形成超种。[7]
