林鼠屬
林鼠屬（学名：Neotoma），哺乳綱、囓齒目、倉鼠科的一屬，而與林鼠屬（白喉林鼠）同科的動物尚有火山鼠屬（火山鼠）、穎鼠屬（穎鼠）、納氏林鼠屬（納氏林鼠）、泳鼠屬（泳鼠）等之數種哺乳動物。

林鼠（pack rat）原產於北美洲與中美洲的大型鼠。體色呈現灰褐，腹部下側色蒼白。尾裸或具叢毛。隨意築巢，甚至會使用人造材料。又稱trade rat和wood rat。
