大卫·格里菲斯 (物理学家)
大卫·杰弗里·格里菲斯（英语：，1942年12月5日—）是一位美国物理学家和教育家。格里菲斯自1978年起任职于里德学院至今，现在是该校霍华德·卫林科学教授（Howard Vollum Professor of Science）。请勿和俄勒冈州立大学另一位已故物理学家 David J. Griffiths 混淆。

经历
格里菲斯自普特尼中学（The Putney School）毕业并进入哈佛大学就读，于1964年获得学士学位、1966年获得硕士学位、1970年获得博士学位。他在理论粒子物理学家西德尼·科尔曼的指导下以博士论文《Covariant Approach to Massless Field Theory in the Radiation Gauge》获得学位。格里菲斯最为人所知的是他所着的三本获得极高评价的大学物理学教科书：《Introduction to Elementary Particles》（第一版1987年，第二版2008年）、《Introduction to Quantum Mechanics》（第一版1995年，第三版2018年）和《Introduction to Electrodynamics》（第一版1981年，第四版2012年）。
