伦敦邮区，于1856年创建[1]，经历多次重组分拆，现占地241 sq mi（620 km2），包含 N、 NW、SW、SE、W、WC、E及EC等邮区，总面积相比起大伦敦为小（607平方英里），但比起伦敦郡大得多（117平方英里）。
