一夜情是指与未创建感情基础的人发生合意性行为。一夜情一词在20世纪后出现。一夜情英文为「」（），原意是一晚的戏院表演。一夜情也是一种常见的外遇。[1][2]如果一夜情之后关系再发展下去，即想以「性」来维持一段关系，这样的话就会成为炮友。
