VP6

TrueMotion VP6是由On2 Technologies所推出的视频压缩编解码器（video codec），性能更胜之前的VP3与VP5。广泛应用于各大视频网站的Adobe Flash视频之中。

2003年5月VP6压缩编解码器首次亮相[1]。2003年10月，On2官方宣布推出TrueMotion VP6 codec[2]。2003年11月，On2宣称VP6被中国的Enhanced Versatile Disc（EVD）所采用。北京E-世界选择VP6编解码器作为EVD格式的视频编码方法。2005年8月，VP6被Flash Player 8视频编码器所采用[3][4]。
