楼宇原本为长江电子大厦，2009年被邓成波以近1.8亿港元购入。其后，邓成波替长江电子大厦成功申请活化工厦计划。2016年，长江电子大厦完成活化，并易名为The Wave。The Wave地下设有停车场及餐厅，二至六楼则为商场，其余楼层用作商务中心。[1][2]
2017年，中银香港旗下中银香港资产管理以31亿港元购入包括The Wave在内的3个物业。[3]
