  • 1985年1.0版上市，在1986年时一套卖到39美元
  • 1994年6月，Central Point Software公司被当时的竞争对手赛门铁克公司所购并。PC Tools的产品因此结束。（赛门铁克公司在1990年代时，已具有同性质的产品「Norton Utilities」）
