沿革

Genie音乐原为1991年由「Blue Cord Technology」所成立的音乐部门，后来该公司再创建一个代号为「Muz」的音乐部门。后来，「Muz」在2000年由Doremi娱乐收购并更名为现在广为人知的「olleh音乐」[1][2][3][4]。

2007年，「Blue Cord Technology」被韩国通信收购。完成合并过后，音乐部门改成立独立门户并更名为「KTF音乐」[5][6]。2009年，「KTF音乐」因与母公司韩国通信重新整并而改组为「KT Music」，随后于2012年收购Korea Music Power控股公司[7][8]。

在LG U+的资助之下[9]，「KT Music」在2017年3月正式更名为「Genie音乐」[10]。
