Beep Media Player
Beep Media Player (BMP)是一个自由的音乐播放器，其建基于XMMS技术。BMP主要是将XMMS重写成GTK+ 2的接口，并加强对GNOME桌面环境的集成。就如XMMS，BMP的外表极像Winamp，而且支持Winamp及XMMS的面板。BMP支持大部份XMMS支持的音频文件，而它们的输入插件最主要的分别在于其在关于及设置的图形接口。不过BMP不能直接使用全部XMMS的插件。

全新版本
在0.9.7.1发布时，BMP开发小组同时宣布BMP将不再开发。取而代之的是开发一个全新版本的BMP，并命名为BMPx。
BMP分支 - Audacious
- 2005年10月26日，nenolod 把 BMP 0.9.7.1 拿来继续开发，成为 Audacious。
