制作背景
- 专辑名称来自于希腊文中根源，起源之意，由主唱京所提案。吉他手薰表示，想回到最初团体成立时的想法及心情去进行创作。[6]
- 封面设计由负责前张专辑《DUM SPIRO SPERO》及《轮廓》等作品的依田耕治制作。起初由成员提出的「起源」与「水」，以及「令人连想到诞生的过程」等字眼而进行构思。
- 制作过程中共录制了将近20首歌曲;但由于收录空间的限制，之后决定以双CD的方式追加收录两首歌曲（收录于完全生产限定版中）。专辑分为完全生产限量版（2CD+DVD or Blu-ray）、初回限量版（2CD）、以及普通版等三种型式发行。
