齿孔

邮票的齿孔是指邮票周围的锯齿状孔洞，是在个别邮票尚未分离前，于邮票之间的空隙上打上的洞。早期的邮票并没有这样的设计，因此分割较不方便，到了1848年，爱尔兰人亨利·亚策尔（Henry Archer）发明了打孔机，1854年的时候，英国发行最早的有孔邮票。
