董悌忱

董悌忱 (1931年—1966年9月2日)，辽宁盘锦人。人类学家 、教育家，中国体质人类学的奠基者之一。 [1] [2]

生平

于1952年毕业于辅仁大学暨北京师范大学生物系。他经由苏联专家金娜、杜伯洛维娜和谢孔介绍进入莫斯科大学攻读博士。1962年，他经吴定良推荐进入复旦大学生物系人类学教研组。董悌忱是复旦大学人类学组早期的重要教师，他为中国大陆人类学，体质人类领域培养了大批人才。他因政治迫害而在1966年的文化大革命中自杀。 [3][4].

董悌忱是第一个在中国大陆开设体质人类学专业基础课的教师，他早期的研究奠定了中国大陆人体测量学，活体测量学和古人类与古灵长类学的基础。 [3] 他生前的主要研究方向为古灵长类动物学，及皮纹学。 [5] 他在巨猿的分类方向做出了重要的贡献。 [6]

在中国大陆改革开放之前，其体质人类学研究寥寥无几，自1960年至1979年，只有董悌忱的广西僮族体质的人类学研究。[7]
