英吨

英吨（英语：）或吨是英制单位，使用地区主要为英国、美国与一些英联邦国家。其和公吨（或）有所区别。

广义的英吨又可分为长吨（）和短吨（）。

  • 长吨：在英国较为常用，为狭义的「英吨」，在英国常直接称为「吨」（）。
  • 短吨：在美国较为常用，又称「美吨」。以「长吨」、「短吨」称呼不易导致混淆。

为符合欧洲的惯例，英国1985年通过的度量衡法明确将英吨排除在贸易用途之外。[1][2]

  • 1长吨 = 2,240磅。
  • 1短吨 = 2,000磅。
公制换算
  • 1长吨 = 1.0160469088公吨 = 1016.0469088公斤；和公吨只差不到2%。
  • 1短吨 = 0.90718474公吨 = 907.18474公斤。
