腰大肌

腰大肌（）也称大腰肌，为一长梭状、纺锤形肌肉，起自第十二胸椎及全部腰椎两旁，与大部分的髂肌（iliacus muscle，或称胯肌）共同终点于股骨（大腿骨）之小转子（）上。髂肌与腰大肌统称「髂腰肌（）」，形成腰动脉与腰静脉通过的肌膜性管道。

若以第二腰椎的横断面来看，腰大肌介于第二腰椎锥体与肾脏之间，腰方肌则在肾脏与第二腰椎横突棘肌之间，对肾脏形成一种保护。
