紅蜻屬

红蜻屬 （Crocothemis）是蜻蜓科赤蜻亚科下的一個屬[1]，主要生活在南欧、非洲、亚洲、澳大利亚和太平洋西南部。红蜻属通常是小型到中型的蜻蜓。

红蜻屬的蜻蜓常因不同的颜色而被注意，雄性一般颜色较为鲜艳，有些种甚至完全被红色覆盖，而雌性往往是暗棕色或红色。

同大多数蜻蜓科的蜻蜓一样，红蜻属的蜻蜓常在含水源的树枝、芦苇或石头附近栖息。
