穆胡海峽

穆胡海峽（愛沙尼亞語：，意為「海峽之海」），在歐洲其他語言普遍遵循德語的舊稱而稱之為「Moonsund」——穆胡島（Muhu）的海峽（德語sund，英語sound）。

穆胡海峽是西愛沙尼亞群島與歐洲大陸（愛沙尼亞國）之間的海峽。對出為波羅的海。

名稱

愛沙尼亞語的名稱「Väinameri」在20世紀初才開始有人採用，歷史上長期以德語拼法「Moonsund」稱之。[1]
