秃鹮

秃鹮（学名：Geronticus calvus）是栖息在南部非洲辽阔草原及山区半沙漠的鸟类。

秃鹮是很大型、有光泽及背部呈蓝色的朱鹭。牠们的面部呈红色，与头部一样没有羽毛。红色的鸟喙长而且向下弯。牠们会在岩石间及山崖边的地盘繁殖，每次会产2-3只蛋，孵化期为21日。牠们主要吃昆虫及其他细小的动物。

秃鹮是群居的，喜欢栖息在干旱的环境。[2][3]

保育状况

牠们被列为《濒危野生动植物种国际贸易公约》附录二的物种，被限制出口及贸易。
