生殖嵴
生殖嵴是胚胎上即将发育为性腺的区域，主要由间充质以及原中肾区的细胞构成。当卵原细胞进入此区后会与体细胞交互作用，在卵原细胞的周边围绕一层细胞(滤泡中颗粒层细胞的前身)。
生殖嵴约会在五周左右的胚胎上发现，并进而发育为性索。
