王日休

王日休（1105-1173年），字虚中，又称龙舒居士，南宋龙舒（今安徽舒城）人。曾为国学进士，专修净土宗。着有《龙舒净土文》。

生平

少年专心于儒学，南宋高宗时，举为国学进士，但他辞不赴仕，着有六经训传数万言。后专心修行净土宗。

绍兴三十年（1160年），校辑《无量寿经》，于1163年完成。

乾道九年（1173年）正月过世。
