汽车戏院
汽车戏院(英语:)是户外电影院的形式之一,本质上是一种停车场,客人开自己的车入场坐在车上看大屏幕上的电影,在北美和东欧较多。1932年由美国人理乍得·霍林斯赫德(Richard M. Hollingshead, Jr)利用废弃化学工厂发明此种放映法[1],早期声音部分采用大喇叭对停车场播放,但可能会因车体阻隔影响声音效果,后来出现区域广播盖台的做法,客人可以用车上收音机收听电影声音。

2020年COVID-19疫情期间,部份国家电影院为避免群聚感染而暂停营业,有些地方因而开设汽车戏院使观众可看电影,又能避免密闭空间与近距离接触造成疫情传播[2][3]。
