文冠果

文冠果（学名：[3]）是一种无患子科[1][2]文冠果属的中国木本植物[4][5][6][7]，由亚历山大·邦吉所描述。本物种是文冠果属的唯一物种[1][2]；而文冠果属又是无患子科文冠果亚科的单模属。

形态描述

本物种为大型的落叶灌木或小型的树种，高2至5公尺[8]，最高可达8公尺高。树干和树枝上的树皮为红棕色[8]。叶序互生，呈羽状，长12–30 cm，每片叶含9-17瓣长约3–6 cm的锯齿状叶片[9]。花直径2–3 cm，有五片花瓣，在春天中期会长出直立型花穗，长10–20 cm。果实呈卵形，有革质外壳的蒴果，直径约5–6 cm，成熟时会爆开成三份，释放出内里6–18颗的种子出来。这些种子黑色，直径约1.5 cm，跟七叶树属物种的果实有点相似[10][11]。

全株植物中，其叶、花及种子皆可食用[12]，种子亦可搾油。

分布

这种植物主要分布在中华人民共和国北方的江苏、安徽二省北部及河南南部，往北分布到山东省、山西省、河北省、内蒙古自治区、陕西省、甘肃省、宁夏回族自治区、青海省、辽宁省、吉林省等省区，也见于朝鲜半岛[8][7][3]。在俄罗斯亦有种植，估计是于19世纪时从清国引入[13]。

分类法

The genus (which translates as "yellow horn") is considered to be the most basal member of the family.[14] The specific epithet refers to the leaves, similar to those of rowans (Sorbus).

本物种的种小名原为「sorbifolia」，但这个名称并不符合《国际藻类、真菌、植物命名法规》（ICBN），所以被修正为「sorbifolium」[3]。

In cultivation in the UK X. sorbifolium has gained the 皇家园艺学会的Award of Garden Merit[15][16]。 It is fully hardy, but prefers a sheltered position.
