尼克·连恩

尼克·连恩（英语：，1967年—）是一位英国生物化学家和科普作家，伦敦大学学院进化生物化学教授，主要科普作品有《生命的跃升：40亿年演化史上最重要的10个关键》（Life Ascending: The Ten Great Inventions of Evolution）、《能量、性、死亡：粒线体与我们的生命》（Power, Sex, Suicide: Mitochondria and the Meaning of Life）、《生命之源：能量、演化与复杂生命的起源》（The Vital Question: Energy, Evolution, and the Origins of Complex Life）等[1]

生平

尼克·连恩于1995年自UCL医学院获博士学位，随后于牛津临床通信（Oxford Clinical Communications）担任医学写作专员，一年后转至一家医学传媒公司担任医学作家[1]。

1997年尼克·连恩成为伦敦大学学院的荣誉研究员，2006年起任荣誉教授（Honorary Reader），2013年起为遗传学、演化与环境学系的演化生化学教授[1][2]。他着有多本科普书籍，2015年获生化学会奖[3]，2016年获伦敦皇家学会迈克尔·法拉第奖[4]，其著作《生命的跃升》获2010年的英国皇家学会科学图书奖[5]。另外他曾于2012年9月与2014年5月两度至BBC广播四台In Our Time节目受访[6][7]。
