宽吻盲𫚔为辐鳍鱼纲鲑鲈目洞穴鱼科的其中一种，被IUCN列为极危保育类动物，分布于北美洲美国阿拉巴马州的Key Cave，头部长且平，鼻部压缩，体白色，无眼睛、无腹鳍，没有分支鳍条，背鳍软条9-10枚;臀鳍软条8-9枚，体长可达7.2公分，栖息在洞穴的泉水处，受到水污染的威胁。
