出殡

出殡又叫送葬，是指尸体从殡仪馆（不设有火葬场）、停尸间前往墓地或火葬场的过程，此时死者的家属或亲朋好友会一路跟随尸体。 [1][2]早期，男性家庭成员会擡着死者的棺材步行前往墓地。[3]随着时间的推移，这种做法已经转变为用灵车运送死者的棺材，而家人和朋友则坐在其他机动车辆一路跟随。[1]从步行改成坐车有以下两个主要因素：墓地或火葬场距离殡仪馆较远；机动车辆和公共交通工具的普及。[1][4]
