公车 (汉朝)
公车，汉朝时皇宫接待臣民的机构，臣民给皇帝的上书都由公车传达至宫中。皇帝要征召臣民，皆由公车配备马车来回接送至皇宫，以示礼遇。公车的长官为公车司马（又称公车司马令或公车令）[1]。
隋唐实施科举制度后，公车成为赴京赶考举人的代称。
