二尖瓣
二尖瓣（拉丁语：；英语：），又称僧帽瓣（拉丁语：；英语：），或左房室瓣（拉丁语：；英语：），是一对位于左心房和左心室之间，可上下拍动的心瓣。二尖瓣（勿与主动脉瓣的双瓣叶畸形混淆）和三尖瓣统称为房室瓣。
心脏构造
在心舒期，正常工作的二尖瓣因左心房充血加压而打开。左心房压高过左心室压的时候二尖瓣打开，使血液被动流入左心室。心舒期结束于心房收缩，最终从心房喷出20%的血液到心室。同时二尖瓣关闭防止心房收缩后血液回流。

英文词mitral (英语发音：/ˈmaɪtrəl/) 来自拉丁语，意为“像主教冠的形状”。英文词bicuspid 结合了拉丁前缀 bi- 意为“二个的”，和 cusp ，意为“尖端”，反映出一对拍动的瓣膜形状。
