乍畏

陆军上将威廉·泽维士，KH（，1782年—1862年11月5日），香港译，英国军人，曾参加半岛战争[1]，1846年获晋升为中将。[2]1851年至1854年任驻港英军司令和香港副总督[3]。香港中西区的苏杭街（旧称乍畏街，Jervois Street）以他命名。[4]他娶伊丽莎白·梅特兰为妻，长子是泽维士爵士。[1]
